The Aural/Oral Dramaturgies Project received this year’s Elliott Hayes Award for Outstanding
Achievement in Dramaturgy. Named after the Canadian/American former dramaturg and literary
manager at The Stratford Festival in Ontario, the award is given in recognition of excellence for a
specific project taking place over the preceding two years.
Duška Radosavljević received the award on behalf of the project at the annual conference of the
Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas (LMDA), which took place in Philadelphia this
year under the title ‘Performance Outside the Proscenium’.
